In addition, to apply this series of balance adjustments,
we plan to conduct maintenance on 6\/1 (Mon) from 13:00 to 15:00 (JST).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
[Details of the Changes]
\u25a0 Reduced point loss when losing on defense
Until now, the amount of points lost on defeat was set relatively high
so that even new players could more easily reach high ranks temporarily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, the higher a player climbed in the rankings,
the larger the point loss became compared to the amount gained from victories.
This created issues such as making it difficult to maintain a high daily ranking
unless playing around 13:00,
and making concentrated attacks on the top-ranked player more likely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This adjustment is intended to make it easier for players who cannot play around 13:00
to participate in the daily rankings,
while also helping reduce excessive concentrated attacks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Please note that, depending on the results of this adjustment,
we may make further adjustments in later seasons
so that the appeal of intense play around 13:00
and the experience of new players aiming for a temporary high ranking
are not overly diminished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25a0 Increased the initial number of bots in Joseki Card Battle
This change is intended to address cases where players who play immediately after the start of a new season
could end up receiving extremely low rewards for their highest ranking reached,
and also to help new players climb to a certain rank more comfortably.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u25a0 Changed the daily bonus based on ranking to Exchange Medals
The daily bonus earned based on ranking will be changed to Exchange Medals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Exchange Medals can be exchanged for Joseki Cards in a dedicated shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition, 12 new cards are scheduled to appear in the dedicated shop,
and these cards can only be obtained there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This adjustment is intended to make the daily bonus more attractive
and encourage more active play.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
